Today I enjoyed the beauty of komorebi—the spots of sun and splashes of daylight, where the light filters through the leaves. I watched with shining eyes as a grey heron took flight before me. As I squatted down to take a closer look and tuned my ears to their chirping, I found many grasshoppers, observing individuals as they stridulated. And so it happened that today’s walk became a lesson in learning to see Him and to hear His voice.
